The new book will, for now, be a one-shot to test the waters for this type of thing, but we're hoping to make it the first in a series.
The book is entitled "Science! Tales from the Edge of Human Knowledge" and is an anthology, though, unlike our other anthology, this one is a theme book. As you can guess from the title, it's a science fiction book and theme is "things going wrong while trying to expand the boundaries of human knowledge".
And, since you asked, yes we are looking for submissions! We'd like to have at least four to five stories for this book and currently have accepted one for inclusion, so we're looking for at least three more. Depending on the quantity and quality of submissions, we may accept more as we haven't nailed down the page count for the title yet.
So, please, send us your stories for consideration! Stories must be at least 4 pages in length and preferably no more than 10, but we'll look at each story on a case by case basis. And remember, this is a theme anthology. Stories must be science fiction and fall under the category of scientific or academic pursuits going awry. Experiments gone horribly wrong? Absolutely! Interdimensional travel mishaps? Quite possibly! Space opera? Superheroes? Nope, sorry. You get the idea and the limit is your imagination.
All submissions must conform to the guidelines on our submissions page and please remember to include a completed submission form, as we cannot look at any submissions without it.
