It's rapidly starting to look and feel like summer around here and the convention season is coming up on us faster than ever, it seems! We have two creators attending conventions this weekend: Martin Brandt, writer of Laces (featured in RPC#1) and Kidthulhu (cover feature of RPC#4) will be at Annapolis Comic-Con at the Moyer Rec Center in Annapolis, Maryland Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th. He'll have copies of RPC#1, 3 and 4 along with copies of his Grim Crew Comics books (Dead Future and Grim Furry Tales). Brandon Barrows, writer of Voyaga, will be at the Vermont Small Press & Comic Expo right in our backyard at the Winooski Downtown Center in Winooski, Vermont this Saturday the 24th. He'll have copies of Reasonably Priced Comics #1-4, SCIENCE! and a selection of books from other publishers. Next month sees the release of Reasonably Priced Comics #5, featuring the final chapter of Book 1 of Voyaga, a one-off superhero comedy from Alex De-Gruchy called "The Perfect Moment" and the cover-featured continuation of Laces in a new story arc called "Dead Don't Talk". Happy Thanksgiving to all our fellow Americans, and happy opening of the holiday shopping season for our friends abroad. It's been awhile since we updated, and since then a few things have happened, most notably the release of Reasonably Priced Comics #4.The below cover is the one for the published issue. Last update, we posted a similar cover but production issues prevented VOYAGA from returning for the final part of the first story arc. In its place, we found two stories from the RPC Vault to take its place. The issue is outstanding and more diverse than any other issue we've published so far.To entice you to check it out, digital copies are available on DriveThruComics this weekend for only 69 cents. That's 30% off of the normal digital price of 99 cents and less than a third of the price of a print issue!Use this link to take advantage of the sale on the digital copy. Good until the end of Saturday. The book is also available on Graphicly for your preferred mobile device and in print at the usual place. And be sure to let us know what you think!

Michael Roberts has been a very supportive of RPC since our inception and he's been kind enough to review our most recent offering. The "money quote": The anthology series Reasonably Priced Comics continues to be on of the best looking small-press indie anthologies out there. With three issues now available to the public, RPC has solidified itself as an anthology that delivers quality material. And, trust me, I’ve read quite a few small-press books, and consistent quality is no easy feat. Thanks for the kind words, Michael! We really appreciate it.You can read Michael's review yourself here http://mwr.me/2011/08/10/review-reasonably-priced-comics-3/ and be sure to check out Michael's web comic "Next Door"!

The first review of Reasonably Priced Comics #3 is in and it's outstanding! Geoff Arbuckle of A Comic Book Blog had this to say, among many other things:"A couple really strong genre stories from Barrows with great art from both Ionic and Panganiban. Kidthulhu is just an endearing character that I want to see more of when he gets his own series." He gave the book an overall score of 100%! Thanks for your support, Geoff! You can read Geoff's review for yourself (WARNING: SPOILERS!) here http://acomicbookblog.com/2011/07/reasonably-priced-comics-3-review/ And if you haven't picked up RPC#3 yourself, you can head over to our store and get in print or digital!

In issue three we present:
VOYAGA, part III - "Identity" by Brandon Barrows and Ionic. Dean Kirkland thought he was alone in the savage, decaying hulk of the world of the 31st century, but when he finds other humans will it turn out to be a blessing or a curse?
KIDTHULHU - "Fetch" by Martin Brandt II & Jason Stephens. Everyone's favorite adorable Elder Horror comes to the pages of Reasonably Priced Comics! All Kid wants to do is spend some quality time with his pet, but does anything ever work out the way its planned?
WESTERN ADDITION - "Dinner Guests" by Brandon Barrows and Leandro Panganiban. A preview of an all-new western series! Guests can be a pain when they're invited, but barging in at dinner time is just so rude!
All this and an incredible WESTERN ADDITION cover by Ionic!
B&W interior, 24 pages, $2.50
Quick update folks, since it's been awhile! First, if you haven't seen it, we have prints available of Ionic's beautiful painting of Dean Kirkland (hero of VOYAGA) exploring the jungle of the 31st century that appeared on the cover of Reasonably Priced Comics #2. We've had a few people asking if we'd be offering prints so we figured we'd give the people what they want! You can find the print by following the link to our store or go directly to it here.
Next up, a sneak peak of Ionic's newest painting! The cover for Reasonably Priced Comics #3 is below! RPC#3 features the first installment of WESTERN ADDITION, Brandon Barrows's (writer of JACK HAMMER and VOYAGA) new western series with artist Leandro Paganiban (ANIMAL CONTROL: SCU, DEAD FUTURE). You'll agree he's outdone himself once again! Finally, we are still looking for a few submissions for our sci-fi anthology SCIENCE! If you're looking to have some of your work published and have a story you think fits what we're looking for, please send it over! We're always happy to look at submissions for Reasonably Priced Comics, as well so please check out our submissions page for details or here to check out the guidelines for SCIENCE!
