Reasonably Priced Comics #2 is fast approaching completion! In preparation (and a little bit of celebration!) we're holding our first contest of the new year.

Issue #1 has been extremely popular, and we've received a number of emails from folks eager to see more from those creators, as well as a wide variety of quality submissions for inclusion in the series. So we know what some folks like, but here's where you come in.

We want to hear what YOU want to see in the pages of Reasonably Priced Comics. Do you have a favorite genre you can't get enough of or a creator whose work you think would fit in with our philosophy and format? Our goal is to provide our readers with high quality comics of all genres for the best price, and we'd really like to hear what you're looking for in a comic.

So here's the deal, we have ten free digital downloads of Reasonably Priced Comics #1 to give away so if you missed it for whatever reason, it's a perfect way to get acquainted with us! It's easy, just drop us an email either through the contact page, at ReasonablyPricedComics @ Yahoo.com or hit us up on our Twitter feed (@RPComics) and let us know your thoughts.

The contest runs until the end of the month or until we have 10 winners, so make sure you take advantage of this opportunity to let us know what YOU want to see in our pages!

In preparation for some covers coming down the line Ionic, the extremely talented artist on JACK HAMMER, created this incredible Voyaga pin up! And this is just the rough version! We can't wait to see the finalized piece!

Our self-titled anthology has been extremely popular after only one issue, and we're very pleased and grateful for your responses to it!

It's been SO popular, in fact, that we've recieved a number of very quality submissions and have already completely filled issues #2 and #3. We are always glad to look at quality submissions, however, so please keep them coming. We have a slot left for a short story for issue #4 and issue #5 is wide open at the moment and we'd love to see your proposals.

Please make sure you refer to our submissions page for the guidelines and please make sure you include a completed and signed submissions agreement with your package. Without it, we will not be able to review your materials.

Next, Graphic Policy reviewed the first issue of Jack Hammer: Political Science and you can read it for yourself here http://graphicpolicy.com/2011/01/06/review-jack-hammer-political-science-1/ . It was reviewer Brett Schenker's introduction to us as a publisher and in his own words, he appears to be impressed!

Speaking of Jack Hammer, and we hate to say this but we believe in full disclosure, issue 2 has been delayed slightly, but only slightly. It was originally scheduled for release the last week of January but due to some holiday-related delays, it's been pushed back to first week of February. Rest assured, however, that the book is completed and will be out very soon.
